Where appropriate, we collaborate with our U.S. and Asia Pacific offices to search across borders.
A substantial part of our practice involves counseling associate candidates on how to achieve their career goals. We have special expertise advising candidates about U.S. law firms. We are uniquely equipped to advise associates on the differences in U.S. law firms? practices, performance, training, culture and attitude toward associates in London and in the U.S.
Responsibilities
The experienced search consultant will have responsibility for:
- Working with the APG leader to maintain established client relationships and to develop relationships with new clients
- Working closely with clients to identify their recruitment needs.
- Using the MLA database to identify and source appropriate candidates for specific roles
- Executing and closing contingent and retained search assignments
- Identifying roles where advertising; ad-search or retained search is appropriate and viable and promoting this solution to clients.
- Assisting with developing a database of candidates
- Constantly developing own market knowledge, and sharing market intelligence with the APG
- Work closely with the APG leader to identify useful tools for marketing to clients and candidates and working to implement them
- Assisting the APG leader to train and supervise junior team members about how to execute and close search assignments and fulfil other aspects of a junior associate recruiter role

- Ideally, a minimum of 1 years? recruitment experience
- Knowledge and network within the London legal community

The package for this position will be competitive
and commensurate with skills and experience. It includes an attractive base salary, commission, a bonus based on team performance and for the right candidate a short-term
