Natasha Innocenti is a Partner with Major, Lindsey & Africa and leads the firm’s partner practice in San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Natasha and her team specialize in representing law firm partners seeking to enhance their practice on a new firm platform. She began her recruiting career in executive search in 1994 and has been focused exclusively on working with law firm partners since 2000.
Natasha develops deep and lasting relationships with successful law firm partners and provides those partners with career advisory services throughout their professional lives. This approach ensures that partners she represents only move when the time is right, that they have a trusted advisor with their interests foremost in mind throughout the process, and most importantly, that the partners she works with make the right move for their practice and their clients. She helps partners with the due diligence required to make a good choice in an ever more complex and sophisticated legal market, including helping develop business plans, navigating conflict questions, designing the right interview schedule, assessing cultural fit and negotiating compensation. As a result, law firm clients know that partners represented by Natasha and her team have thought through their options and will receive the highest levels of support, due diligence and pre-integration.
Natasha was recruited to Major, Lindsey & Africa in 2003 to join the Partner Practice. In 2006, she was named a Partner in the firm. From 2007-2009, she served as Managing Partner of the firm’s Northern California offices. In 2010 Natasha completed executive coaching school and received her certificate as a Professional Coach. She currently serves as the National Vice Chair of the Women In Law Empowerment Forum, an organization dedicated to the empowerment of women lawyers. She also serves as a Board member for The Law Foundation of Silicon Valley, a not-for-profit providing legal advocacy for children, the mentally disabled and otherwise underrepresented individuals and families in need in Silicon Valley. She is on the Advisory Board of the University of California Hastings School of Law Leadership Academy for Women, a program dedicated to developing rainmaking and leadership skills in women law firm partners.
Natasha began her recruiting career with a boutique executive search firm in London, England in 1994. Upon relocating back to her home town of San Francisco, she joined Heidrick & Struggles. While there Natasha executed C-level searches for companies in life sciences, technology, private equity, consumer goods, energy, venture capital, investment banking, legal services and consulting. She developed a specialty in legal search and financial services search. Natasha was invited to join the Legal Search Practice within the Executive Search Group of TMP (S&P 500 company) in 2000.
