Bob Graff is a Partner and recruiter in the in-house practice group at MLA and leads searches for General Counsel and all other levels of in-house positions.  Recent clients include UPS, Global Payments, BevMo, SBA Communications, and INVESCO.  From 2011 – 2013, he served as the company’s first Vice President - Global Business Development and was responsible for developing closer relationships with our corporate clients. In that role he met with over 200 General Counsel to discuss their human capital strategy. From 2008 - 2010 he served as the Global Practice Manager (GPM) of the In-House Practice Group. In this capacity, he drove strategy and policy for the practice group globally, in collaboration with his counterpart, Miriam Frank, and oversaw the in-house recruiting efforts for MLA’s east coast offices (Boston through Houston).

In his recruiting practice from 1998 – 2007 Bob worked on a wide variety of in-house search assignments in the southeast and nationally. He placed over 200 attorneys in-house ranging from junior counsel to General Counsel and covered the full spectrum of practice areas. Bob provided both candidates and clients with a superior level of service, and helped advance search methodology at MLA. He also placed Partners and associates into law firms around the southeast. Prior to joining MLA in 1998, Bob held a number of senior sales and marketing positions with companies including Enstar Communications, HBO & Company (now part of McKesson), and the Patient Focused Care Association.

Bob serves on the Board of Directors for kidz2leaders, inc., which exists to change the lives of children whose parents are in prison and reduce the odds – which stand at 72% today - that these children will eventually be incarcerated. Bob has volunteered with k2l since 2003.  Bob has been married to his wife Janet since 1983, and they have successfully and joyfully raised three children who are all gainfully employed in their fields of choice.
