SAN RAFAEL, California – February 03, 2010 – Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s largest legal search firm, announced today the placement of Robin Walker-Lee as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of TRW Automotive Holdings Corporation. Reporting to the CEO, Walker-Lee will oversee all legal affairs of TRW Automotive, serving as a senior member of the management team and advisor to the CEO, Board of Directors and the other senior officers of the company on a wide range of strategic, tactical and operational issues. The search was led by Paul Williams, Managing Partner and Katelyn Kye, Managing Director in MLA’s Chicago office.
“The position required an exceptionally accomplished attorney with strong academic credentials, an exemplary professional record and a strong business orientation,” says Paul Williams. “Robin’s experience at the senior level of a large global corporation in the automotive industry made her the ideal candidate.”
Walker-Lee joins TRW Automotive following a distinguished career at General Motors. While there she served in several executive positions, including General Counsel & VP Public Policy, GM Latin America, Africa & Middle East and most recently Assistant General Counsel, General Motors Company. Walker-Lee began her legal career as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Cornelia G. Kennedy, US Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit. She earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Michigan Law School, where she was executive editor of the Michigan Law Review and Order of the Coif, and she holds a B.A. with honors in French and English from the University of Kansas.
