Commercial Counsel

Our client has retained Major, Lindsey & Africa to conduct a search for Commercial Counsel. The ideal candidate has significant experience representing major tech, outsourcing, or systems integrations companies and possesses 7–12+ years experience at a premier law firm and/or corporate legal department, including: high impact commercial transactions (i.e., purchase, sale and distribution agreements, complex licensing transactions). Counsel will provide direct legal support to the company’s newly created sales teams. In this role, the candidate will have responsibility for negotiation and post-execution management of end-user, partner and alliance relationships. This position will provide the necessary legal guidance to the company’s contracting functions in order for the business to initiate, negotiate and execute appropriate agreements protective of the company while meeting the company’s business needs. Counsel will be expected to travel as necessary to support customer and channel partner negotiations.
