Bio

Pamela S. DiCarlantonio is a Managing Director in Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Chicago office. She is a member of MLA’s Partner Practice Group for the Midwest with substantial experience placing partners and associates within top national and regional law firms in Chicago and other cities. Pam’s practice at MLA involves representing partners considering new platforms for their practices and law firms looking to grow through the lateral market. Her clients include Kirkland & Ellis; Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, Jenner & Block; Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg; Vedder Price; Grippo & Elden; Marshall, Gerstein & Borun; Quarles & Brady; Dykema and numerous other firms in Chicago, Cleveland and cities as far away as Honolulu and Miami.

Pam is able to offer her candidates a unique perspective having practiced law in a variety of different law firm environments herself, and having been represented twice in her own career by two highly capable recruiters. A former litigator, Pam began her legal career with Bickel & Brewer, a commercial litigation boutique in Dallas, followed by four years as a litigation associate in Jenner & Block’s Chicago office and nearly five years with Sugar, Friedberg & Felsenthal, also in Chicago. As an attorney Pam handled a wide range of litigation matters in state and federal court including commercial, bankruptcy, fraudulent transfer, employment, construction, insurance coverage, probate, class actions, intellectual property and pro bono criminal matters.
