Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility is an integral part of our purpose as a company. It is our obligation to put the best interests of our employees, customers, communities and the environment at the forefront of Major, Lindsey & Africa's strategies and goals. We are committed to providing the highest level of service and upholding our values and ethical standards in all of our corporate activities.

Our Corporate Social Responsibility initiative includes four pillars:

  • Community: We believe in supporting the communities where we live and serve. We believe community involvement is an important piece of personal development and gives individuals the opportunity to promote awareness and understanding within their community.
  • Environment: Recognizing that our work has an indirect effect on the environment, we are committed to reducing our impact, while educating and empowering our employees to make more environmentally responsible choices.
  • Governance and Ethics: We conduct business according to the highest ethical standards, and based on our shared values. Our employees abide by a code of conduct that helps our employees make sound decisions in complex situations involving our company and our business.

Allegis Group Foundation

We believe that community involvement is an important piece of personal development and gives individuals the opportunity to promote awareness and understanding within their community. Our parent company, Allegis Group supports many charitable organizations but recognizes that our diverse workforce is already committed to and passionate about other causes. The Foundation partners with employees to provide charitable matches to a variety of eligible organizations in support of employee volunteerism.

Major, Lindsey & Africa has many resources available to our employees to support their success and help them grow as professionals and individuals.

Performance and Learning Management System (PLMS) — Our Performance and Learning Management System gives employees access to thousands of training videos based on their development needs.

Diversity Council — We are committed to being a diversity market leader both internally and externally and recognize that drawing upon the strengths of all of our differences supports our services and ultimately our success. Our Diversity Council works in conjunction with the Senior Leadership team to create, recommend and assist in the implementation of a diversity and inclusion strategic direction. 

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) — Also known as affinity groups or employee networks, ERGs provide an opportunity for employees to collaborate on shared interests, provide mutual support, participate in professional development and mentoring programs, interact with company leadership and much more.

Mentoring Program — The mission of our Mentoring Program is to equally empower all employees to grow professionally and realize their full potential. By facilitating one-on-one mentoring relationships, the program helps employees strengthen their self-confidence, find their voice, integrate easily and thrive in their role and within our organization.
