Amanda Ziemann, a Director in our Chicago In-House Practice Group, specializes in placing attorneys in corporate legal departments in a wide range of industries throughout the Midwest. A trial attorney from her first day in practice, she brings her years of negotiating and advocacy for her clients to her career as a legal recruiter.
Amanda lives on the far northwest side of Chicago with her husband and daughter. She loves to run, cook, take photos and grow her own veggies. An eternal optimist, she has high hopes of keeping a house plant alive one of these days.
Prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Amanda was a trial attorney in both the public and private sector. She began her career litigating a variety of personal injury cases then moving on to handle the subrogation department at a national creditors' rights firm.
Most recently, Amanda was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Illinois, litigating a variety of cases ranging from medical malpractice to defamation.
