Chris Boyd, a Managing Director in the Solutions Practice Group, specializes in the recruitment of legal talent — attorneys, paralegals and other legal professionals — for a variety of opportunities including substantive project-based consultant work as well as permanent placements. He has more than 18 years of combined business development and leadership experience within the contract staffing industry and prides himself on working hard to understand his client's needs and providing the best possible solution to address their staffing goals.
Chris is a veteran of the U.S. Army. He lives in Houston with his wife Angela and their five children: Chris, Sierra, Keaton, Abigail and Cooper.
Prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Chris worked for Aerotek, the largest operating entity of our parent company, the Allegis Group. Chris was director of business operations for Aerotek's offices in British Columbia, Canada, and Tampa, Florida. He directed more than 70 employees and was responsible for all aspects of sales, recruiting, strategic planning, hiring, training and P&L management. His team served six unique business lines and provided recruiting and staffing services to a diverse array of industries including engineering, biotechnology and construction management. During his tenure with Aerotek, Chris achieved multiple high honors within the organization including earning membership in the prestigious President's Club and participation in the Winner's Circle, a company-wide program recognizing top producers and leaders. As a senior member of the senior sales force, he assisted in successfully launching new offices for Aerotek in Texas and Washington.
