Dan Hatch Managing Partner

Dan Hatch

I don’t 'recruit' in the typical sense but rather consult with partners and firms to create dynamic career moves. I see myself as a powerful combination of objective counselor, law firm liaison, and personal advocate. I bring superior market knowledge and 25 years of experience to every conversation and use that insight to create tremendous value for partners and law firm leaders.

Dan Hatch founded the Southern California Partner Practice Group. His recruiting practice focuses on providing professional representation for partners seeking new opportunities as well as executing focused searches for law firm clients. An expert in the Southern California market, Dan has advised on some of the most significant lateral partner transactions of the past 11 years gaining a reputation for professionalism and discretion.

Dan grew up in San Diego and currently resides in Newport Beach with his wife, Karol, and their three children. He is actively involved in community issues and serves on the Board of Directors for Public Counsel in Los Angeles. In addition to being an avid San Diego professional sports fan, a true testament to his patience and sense of hometown loyalty, Dan enjoys playing guitar, tennis, poker and golf.

Experience

Prior to recruiting, Dan practiced law for 16 years both in a firm and as in-house counsel.
