Glenn Tannous is a Managing Director with our Partner Practice Group. In this role, he assists candidate and firm clients with reaching their career goals and objectives, offering an in-depth analysis of the practice areas, key players and the business affecting their practice areas and goals.

In addition to his partner and law firm practice, Glenn continues to be a trusted advisor to C-Level management, human resource professionals as well as in-house staffing professionals in connection with their legal department needs.

In 2011, Glenn joined Major, Lindsey & Africa in Los Angeles, where he teamed up with colleague Peter Ocko. The team Glenn forms with Peter Ocko provides a combined near 40 years of legal recruiting and consulting experience. As our senior and most accomplished team in Los Angeles representing partners throughout Southern California, Glenn and Peter are in a unique position to provide you value throughout your career.

In his spare time, Glenn enjoys hiking all over the Southland with his three dogs. He enjoys the outdoors, gardening, cooking, picking the right bottle of wine, reading, theater, movies, music and friends.

Experience

Glenn graduated from Copenhagen University in 1994 with his J.D. and spent his legal career in Copenhagen, Denmark, with Anton Hjuler LLP, one of the city's top transactional boutiques.

In 1996, Glenn came to Los Angeles as vice president of business and marketing for an Internet startup and began his recruiting career in 2001 launching the legal division for a national recruiting company. For the next 10 years, Glenn built and grew top in-house legal teams for some of the most respected technology, medical device and life science companies in the U.S., placing general counsel, chief legal counsel, chief compliance officers, chief IP counsel as well as all other lower-level legal positions, including legal support personnel.

Glenn and Peter's success on their partner clients' behalf come from understanding the business of law, substantive developments in the partners' practice areas, and the actual opportunities that exist for them within a potential firm from our longstanding relationships with hundreds of firm's senior managements. Levering their colleagues across the U.S. and abroad, Glenn and Peter provide real-time critical analysis on every aspect of suitor firms in a way that no other individual recruiter can provide.
