I learn everything I can about my candidates, and I truly get to know them, their interests and what makes them tick—ultimately building a friendship. They see me as a trusted advisor. I counsel my candidates throughout their careers, rather than just telling them to make a move for the sake of changing jobs. I want to help them realize their career goals.

Jennifer Henderson is a Partner in our Southern California office. Her focus is on placing associates and partners into law firms and corporations and assisting attorneys with all stages of their career development. She has counselled, coached, recruited and placed top talent within the legal and business sectors for 10 years. Jennifer is regularly called upon by lawyers at all levels for advice on their career paths and opportunities, and she works with lawyers through all stages of their careers. Her clients praise her market knowledge and assistance with difficult searches, employing her deep market experience and knowledge on behalf of her clients and candidates.

A native-Chicagoan, Jennifer now lives ½ mile from the beach and won't return to the cold. Her favourite thing to do is spend time with her two little girls, but she also loves the outdoors—hiking, biking, stand-up paddling, etc. She is an avid yogi and is a healthy lifestyle/food/fitness guru. Her guilty pleasure is watching San Diego Chargers American football.

Jennifer brings a wealth of knowledge about the Southern California legal market gained from practicing in it for more than seven years. After graduating with her law degree, she began practicing in the litigation department of O'Melveny & Myers. Jennifer then joined Hodel Briggs Winter (now Kading Briggs and Hodel Wilks), a firm that was started by several former partners from Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, where her practice focused on labor and employment and commercial litigation.

While in law school, Jennifer was an extern for the Honorable Judge Terry Hatter; a summer associate at Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton; and an associate editor for the University of Minnesota Law Review.
