Kat McClain Director

I highly value advocacy and believe that every great advocate starts out as a great listener. It’s my ultimate goal to be an outstanding advocate for my clients and their needs since careers are such a huge part of their lives.

Kat McClain is Director in our Los Angeles Solutions Practice Group where she works with businesses and law firms to identify interim and project-based attorneys and other legal professionals to fill their legal staffing needs. Kat uses her keen listening and communication skills and ability to connect with people to build relationships and facilitate matches that are cultural and skill fits.

Kat lives in Los Angeles, California, but she is a die-hard Kansas City Royals baseball fan and misses Chicago deep dish pizza. When she isn’t working, Kat can be found enjoying live music and theatre, attending yoga, pilates or spinning classes, and trying out as many new restaurants as she can.

Prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Kat was an associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, LLP, where she worked in the firm’s litigation department and dedicated significant time to pro bono immigration matters.
