I'm a high-energy, former practicing lawyer devoted to helping corporations identify and hire the best lawyers for their in-house legal departments. I apply the same methodical and detail-oriented approach to my work as a legal search consultant as I did during the 15+ years that I spent practicing law at large law firms and in-house at a large corporation.

Kimberly Lerman is a Director in our In-House Practice Group's Atlanta office. She specializes in placing attorneys in corporate legal departments in a wide range of industries, including financial services, retail, technology, manufacturing, healthcare and consumer services.  Kimberly successfully has filled a variety of roles, including general counsel, associate general counsel, division general counsel and senior counsel.

When not working, Kimberly enjoys swimming, biking and running, having completed 14 Ironman® triathlons. She is also an avid scuba diver and enjoys hiking, photography and cooking.

Experience

Kimberly spent 15 years practicing law in Atlanta, which allowed her to gain extensive knowledge of the local legal market. Immediately prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, she was vice president and associate general counsel for a large company in Atlanta.

In addition to seven years of in-house experience, Kimberly also has experience working as a litigation associate at local law firms, including several years at both King & Spalding and Sutherland Asbill & Brennan.
