I help lawyers and law firms navigate their paths in today's global legal market. I have developed a reputation for discreet, professional and forthright advice, which brings to bear not just local market trends but also the impact on the London market of events and trends elsewhere. I am particularly passionate about helping women in the profession to achieve their career goals.

Melinda Wallman founded the London and Hong Kong offices of Major, Lindsey & Africa. Melinda's practice spans senior level search on behalf of Law Firms and Financial Institutions and Partner/Team representation.

Melinda has particular expertise in the alternative investment management space. She is known for her expertise in diversity search and her commitment to making every search matter.

Prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa in New York in 1999, Melinda was a corporate lawyer at Gilbert & Tobin, Sydney, then she commenced her search career with a major British consultancy in London, opening their Sydney office and developing their cross-border UK-Australia business. She has worked as a search consultant in London, Hong Kong, New York and Sydney.
