My goal is to identify and recruit exceptional talent for the Major, Lindsey & Africa and Allegis Partners, ensuring a good match for us and the candidate. I derive a strong sense of satisfaction from all aspects of my role—sourcing and persuading a passive candidate to consider Major, Lindsey & Africa, identifying the perfect match for a client’s opening, negotiating an offer that works for both sides, etc. I also enjoy growing the internal recruiting team—training, mentoring and guiding.
Nancy Rogers has been the Director of Internal Recruiting since 2006. She focuses on recruiting search consultants nationally for Major, Lindsey & Africa's In-House and Solutions Practice Groups and Allegis Partners.
Nancy is a San Francisco Bay Area native and a fourth-generation Californian. She lives in Marin County with her husband. Nancy loves spending time with her family and friends and enjoys many outdoor activities- including running, hiking, skiing, backpacking and kayaking.
Before joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Nancy was a senior staffing consultant for Fireman's Fund Insurance Company, an Allianz company. She specialized in recruiting professional and leadership level positions nationwide, in finance and accounting, human resources, marketing, sales, legal, audit and actuarial.
Nancy began her career in search at a boutique executive search firm, now part of Stanton Chase International. She focused on candidate development and search execution for retained C-level and professional level searches, in the technology, telecom, financial services and public accounting industries. Prior to search, Nancy worked at Levi Strauss & Co in San Francisco in various roles, including sundries buying, offshore production and meeting facilitation.
