Successful partners and firms must make bold decisions to create the future they want; however, they need a trusted expert to help navigate to that destination. As that advisor, I bring together the requisite business, emotional and cultural intelligence to create special opportunities for lawyers practicing at the highest level and for firms that want to win, not just compete in an ever-changing environment.

Peter Ocko, a Managing Director with our Partner Practice Group, brings a wealth of private practice and client service experience to his role, creating synergies among the best law firms and partners. His consultative approach and breadth of relationships have made him a trusted adviser to law firm leaders at AmLaw Global 100, mid-sized firms and boutique shops and allowed Peter to guide law firms, groups and individuals to high value, long-term destinations.

The team Peter forms with Glenn Tannous provides a combined near 40 years of legal recruiting and consulting experience.  As our senior and most accomplished team in Los Angeles representing partners throughout Southern California, Glenn and Peter are in a unique position to provide you value throughout your career.

Prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Peter practiced law in the corporate departments and technology practice groups of WilmerHale and Mintz Levin, where he represented a diverse array of institutions. He also served as outside counsel to a venture fund and knowledge management software company.

Peter publishes on issues ranging from law firm business to organizational culture and is regularly consulted by the legal press. He also speaks to law students and recent graduates regarding career trajectory, trends and professional development.

Peter and Glenn's success on their partner clients' behalf come from understanding the business of law, substantive developments in the partners' practice areas, and the actual opportunities that exist for them within a potential firm from our longstanding relationships with hundreds of firm's senior managements. Levering their colleagues across the U.S. and abroad, Peter and Glenn provide real-time critical analysis on every aspect of suitor firms in a way that no other individual recruiter can provide.
