I am passionate about helping others and take great pleasure in helping develop one’s career goals. I really take time to get to know my candidates and build a deep, trusting relationship. That relationship helps me offer advice on their career choices and find roles that are ideal to their needs and experiences.

Porche Jones is a Director in our Solutions Practice Group. She specializes in interim and permanent legal placements of top legal talent in and around the New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco areas.

Porche is originally from Thibodaux, La. She resides in Houston, Texas, with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.


Prior to joining to Major, Lindsey & Africa, Porche was a recruiting manager for a large legal recruiting firm, where she specialized in the direct-hire placement of legal professionals in the Houston market. During this time, she successfully developed new relationships with both clients and candidates within law firms and corporate legal departments.

Porche received her J.D. from Louisiana State University School of Law. While at LSU, she worked at the Louisiana State Legislative Bureau where she assisted the First Assistant Secretary of the Senate in review and analysis of all legislative instruments from House and Senate Committees. She also clerked for Justice John Weimer of the Louisiana Supreme Court.
