Stephanie Biderman is a Managing Director in our New York office. She specializes in placing attorneys of all levels into top-tier national, international, regional and boutique law firms as well as into prominent in-house positions. One of her strengths is her ability to work closely with candidates to help them identify opportunities that are consistent with their individual career goals.
Stephanie uses her background as a practicing attorney to offer valuable insights to her candidates as they consider potential career moves. She takes tremendous pride in connecting closely with each of her candidates and works tirelessly to help them identify opportunities that are consistent with their individual career goals. She counsels and coaches her candidates through every step of the recruiting process and uses her significant market intelligence to ensure that candidates feel fully prepared for interviews. Of course, she cannot do any of this without knowing her clients well. Therefore, she works hand-in-hand with law firm and corporate clients to understand their needs so she can create the most successful placements possible. She finds this process immensely rewarding and is proud to have helped to change the lives and careers of hundreds of attorneys over the years.
In addition, Stephanie regularly speaks at top law schools, including Harvard, Yale, and Columbia, to advise students during On-Campus Interviews and before they begin their summer associate positions. She was also selected to present a program at the 2016 NALP Educational Conference on recruiting millennial lateral associates.
Prior to joining Major Lindsey & Africa in 2010, Stephanie practiced as a real estate associate at Paul Hastings. Earlier in her career, she worked at a New York City public relations firm.
