Susan Agopian specializes in partner representation in the lateral market in Southern California. Having been with Major, Lindsey & Africa for over a decade, she knows all the nuanced facets of the business.
Born and raised in Bulgaria, Susan brings a unique and worldly perspective to her current position. She spent her formative years playing soccer, while traveling through Europe with her mother, a prima ballerina, before making Los Angeles her permanent home in 1994 and allowing basketball and hockey to complement her lifelong love affair with soccer. Susan's M.A. in Philosophy enabled her to turn down Virginia law school, instead spending the past decade mastering the headhunting profession.
In her free time, Susan manages to balance her work life with a wide range of culinary and bucket list items. Most recent adventures include opera at the Royal Albert in London, Dubai, Australia, Tofino and Hawaii. When not hiking with her dogs, Susan is exploring hidden gems throughout LA. She is an animal rights advocate and is a passionate supporter of the ASPCA and The Humane Society.
Prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Susan established and ran her own business. Before that, she was immersed in the world of corporate retail. While there, she was the youngest director to be named to the Million Dollar Club.
