The Client

AmLaw 100 Firm

The Challenge

Our law firm client was faced with an overwhelming amount of work within their corporate and real estate groups. Unfortunately, they were struggling to find the right permanent hire as they needed experienced, mid-level talent who could hit the ground running and help train the junior lawyers.

The Approach

The Interim Legal Talent group met with the client and presented the option of bringing in contract lawyers to fill the void. Through several conversations and strategy discussions, the client decided this was a great, cost-effective option. Together, the Interim Legal Talent group and the client developed an ideal candidate profile, exploring what makes a good fit for the firm.

The Solution

Having developed a profile of the ideal candidate, the recruiter was able to leverage the Major, Lindsey & Africa network to target candidates who had the right skill set and experience. We provided multiple experience contract attorneys for review within a few days. The law firm is currently employing numerous experienced attorneys within their corporate and real estate teams on a contract basis.

The Results

The experience has been a huge success for the client and the firm continues to rely on the Interim Legal Talent group for their interim contract needs, expanding the model to other practice groups and several of their offices across the United States.
