Places Scott D’Angelo as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for CTS Corporation

Hanover, MD (February 23, 2021) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal search firm, today announced the placement of Scott D’Angelo as vice president, general counsel and secretary for CTS Corporation. The search was led by Heather Fine, partner, and Casey Gordon, director, in MLA’s In-House Counsel Recruiting, both based in Chicago.

Scott will lead CTS’s legal department and be responsible for all its legal affairs, specifically the development and execution of the legal strategy and operations that support the business, corporate governance, M&A, commercial contracts, litigation, employment, regulatory matters and other legal issues. He will be a member of the senior leadership team, reporting to CTS’s President and CEO Kieran O’Sullivan and interacting on an ongoing basis with the board of directors.

CTS (NYSE: CTS) is a leading designer and manufacturer of products that Sense, Connect and Move. Headquartered in Lisle, Illinois, just outside of Chicago, the company manufactures sensors, actuators and electronic components in North America, Europe and Asia and provides engineered products to customers in the aerospace/defense, industrial, medical, telecommunications/IT and transportation markets.

Before joining CTS, Scott spent more than 20 years in corporate and private practice. He most recently served as a member of Baker McKenzie’s International Commercial and Trade Practice Group, focusing on complex cross-border corporate and commercial transactions, with an emphasis on international franchising, licensing and distribution transactions and supply chain strategies. Prior to his time with Baker McKenzie, he spent several years as deputy general counsel and chief compliance officer with Fortune Brands Home & Security, Inc., and more than a decade with McDonald’s Corporation serving most recently as general counsel, West division.

Scott earned his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School and his B.A. from Michigan State University.
