Casey Gordon is a Director in our Midwest In-House Practice Group. She uses her knowledge of the legal industry and in-house experience to place attorneys at all levels within public and private, non-profit and academic legal departments throughout the Midwest.
Casey is originally from Baltimore and currently lives in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago with her husband and their daughter. She’s a devoted Baltimore Ravens and adoptive Cubs fan as well as a blue crab and Old Bay enthusiast.
Prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Casey served as deputy general counsel for Funding Circle, a global financial technology company. In this role, she acted as an advisor to the business on a wide range of legal and regulatory issues in an emerging and fast-growing industry. Before that, Casey worked as legislative counsel for the Uniform Law Commission, a national non-profit law reform organization, where she helped develop and enact model legislation in a range of subject areas. Casey began her legal career as a litigation associate with Latham & Watkins. Prior to law school, Casey worked on Capitol Hill as a staffer for a Senate committee.
