Jennifer Henderson is a Partner in our Southern California office. Her focus is on placing associates and partners into law firms and corporations and assisting attorneys with all stages of their career development. She has counseled, coached, recruited and placed top talent within the legal and business sectors for over 10 years. Jennifer is regularly called upon by lawyers at all levels for advice on their career paths and opportunities, and she works with lawyers through all stages of their careers. She uses her background as a practicing attorney to offer valuable insights to her candidates as they consider potential career moves. She thoroughly enjoys connecting with each of her candidates to understand their lives and motivations so she can help them to identify opportunities that are consistent with their career goals. Her clients praise her market knowledge and assistance with difficult searches, employing her deep market experience and knowledge on behalf of her clients and candidates.

In addition, Jennifer regularly speaks at top law schools to advise students entering the legal profession. She is called upon by local organizations to speak on the legal market and recruiting. She was also selected to present a program at the 2018 NALP Educational Conference on how law firms can improve interview process to hire more effectively.

A native-Chicagoan, Jennifer now lives a mile from the beach in Laguna and won't return to the cold. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her two little girls, but she also loves the outdoors—hiking, biking, stand-up paddling, etc. She is an avid yogi and is a healthy lifestyle/food/fitness guru. Her guilty pleasure is watching Chargers football.

Jennifer brings a wealth of knowledge about the Southern California legal market gained from practicing in it for more than seven years. After graduating with her law degree, she began practicing in the litigation department of O'Melveny & Myers. Jennifer then joined Hodel Briggs Winter (now Kading Briggs and Hodel Wilks), a firm that was started by several former partners from Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, where her practice focused on labor and employment and commercial litigation.

While in law school, Jennifer was an extern for the Honorable Judge Terry Hatter; a summer associate at Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton; and an associate editor for the University of Minnesota Law Review.
