Amber Abousamra is a Director within Interim Legal Talent based in our New York office, where she specializes in placing legal and compliance talent in various substantive interim and permanent positions within law firms and in-house legal departments.
Amber relocated to New York City from Chicago, where she often returns to visit friends and attend sporting events. In her spare time, she enjoys working out, traveling, exploring new restaurants, learning about health and fitness, and attending Broadway shows.
Prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Amber worked as a federal litigation attorney in New York, handling immigration and criminal matters in federal courts throughout the United States. Before this, Amber practiced at a law firm in Chicago where she managed multimillion-dollar claims relating to medical malpractice, personal injury, and product defects.
Earlier in her career, Amber worked at the Public Defender’s office in Grand Rapids, MI, where she assisted in the exoneration of an innocent man who had spent nearly ten years in prison.Western Michigan University: J.D.
