Bartu Atamert is an Associate in our Interim Legal Talent Group, based in London, working with contract lawyers to help them find high-quality interim work opportunities that best utilise their skills and expertise.
After growing up in Cambridge with his family, Bartu now lives in London with friends from Durham University. From a young age, he has been a keen swimmer and rower and currently keeps his fitness up to scratch at the gym. Bartu is also a keen traveller, especially enjoying frequenting his family in Australia and Turkey.
Prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Bartu held a series of interim roles including for Epoch Wires where he recruited candidates for the company; Jones Day, where he completed a Vacation Scheme; and Great James Street Chambers, where he attended court and met with clients along with barristers on criminal and immigration matters. He also worked for an American based think tank, advising the organisation on Middle Eastern diplomatic activities and their effects on U.S. diplomacy.
