Kenny Chargois, an Associate in the Associate Practice Group, provides support to our recruiters, helping them source and recruit law firm associates. Kenny is heavily relied upon by his teammates to find and engage with the most compelling associate candidates.

Kenny is a San Francisco Bay Area native, however, he spent his fifth-grade year and most summers with his dad in Kansas City, Missouri. His family has deep roots in Louisiana, so he is a loyal New Orleans Saints fan. In his spare time, he enjoys riding his fixie bike to local record shops and digging through crates of vinyls to find his favorite records. He also enjoys road trips and has driven from Seattle to Santa Cruz in four days, using a coastal highway. He plans to complete his coastal trip from Santa Cruz to San Diego before taking a drive down the East Coast, eventually.

Prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Kenny worked as a recruiter, social justice team leader and head school counselor within the San Leandro Unified School District, helping others develop their capacity to reach their goals. He collaborated with stakeholders to connect his students and families to resources such as housing, food, clothing, school supplies and technology in order to increase his students’ success in school. In an additional effort to provide his students with as much support as possible, he was actively involved with the recruiting and hiring of numerous other specialists throughout the school system.
