Chris Craig Joins MLA's Interim Legal Talent in Los Angeles to Further Business Development

Hanover, MD (December 15, 2022) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world's leading legal search firm, has announced that Chris Craig has joined the firm as a managing director of client development with MLA Interim Legal Talent, based in Los Angeles. Craig works closely with law firms and corporate legal departments to place attorneys and paralegals on a project, contract and consulting basis.

“Chris holds 20-plus years of experience in client development in the legal industry where he advised law firms and partners on how to grow their firm and book of business,” said Bodie McNaught, partner and practice lead for MLA Interim Legal Talent. “His insight and understanding of the legal practice will prove beneficial to his clients as he becomes engrained in MLA.”

Chris has more than 20 years of experience working with, leading and inspiring attorneys. Early in his career, he spent several years in the finance industry as a stockbroker and research analyst, consulting with and advising CFOs at publicly traded companies. Chris then followed his entrepreneurial vision and started a legal services company, Centext Legal. After nearly 10 years, Chris moved on to lend his experience and talent to BizDev.Legal, where he worked  with attorneys and business leaders to define and execute accountable growth strategies. Most recently, Chris served as the vice president, business development at McDermott and Bull, where he partnered with leading companies to identify and recruit C-suite executives for permanent roles.
