Duc Trang, Managing Director in Major, Lindsey & Africa Transform Advisory Services Team, Inducted into the College of Law Practice Management

Hanover, MD (October 10, 2022) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal search firm, announced today that Duc Trang, managing director in our Transform Advisory Services team, has been named as a fellow in the College of Law Practice Management, which has 300 fellows around the world. He is one of 11 new fellows who were inducted at the annual Futures Conference on October 6-7 in Boston.

The College was formed in 1994 to honor and recognize distinguished law practice management professionals, to set standards of achievement for others in the profession, and to fund and assist projects that enhance the highest quality of law practice management. Fellows of the College are nominated by their peers each year and elected by the College Board of Trustees. They are recognized thought leaders across different industries who are devoted to the advancement and transformation of the legal profession.

As a member of MLA Transform Advisory Services, Duc advise law firms and in-house legal departments on the design and implementation of transformation projects that will help organizations achieve sustainable strategic value and profitable growth. He  brings a unique combination of experience as general counsel, global law firm attorney, author, business leader, educator, executive coach and consultant.

Duc’s key areas of advisory expertise include the business of law, organizational design and human capital strategy. He also coaches senior executives on developing leadership skills and enhancing performance. Prior to joining MLA, Duc founded Landon Advisory Services, which provided transactional advisory services as well as strategy and human capital consulting. He has worked in the United States, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. He recently published the highly acclaimed book, Architecture of Deals: Strategies for Transactional Lawyering, which focuses on innovation in legal education and training.

Duc earned his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and his B.A. in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley.
