My first placement back in 2020 was a value-add for both the associate and the client. The associate specialized in the firm’s preferred practice and joined a team that was highly attuned to teambuilding and mentorship—both parties came away with a win.
Understand that there is a learning curve, as with any career pivot. That being said, one of the most important attributes of a good recruiter is your soft (people) skills, so make sure those are well polished.
