MLA Expands Its Footprint in Texas with the Addition of Former Civil Litigator and Life and Career Coach Rhonda M. Ware

Hanover, MD (September 5, 2019) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal search firm, announced today the opening of its new Dallas office. The addition of the Dallas office expands the firm’s reach beyond Houston and grows the organization to 26 offices globally. Rhonda M. Ware will lead the office’s Partner Practice Group, guiding partners and law firms through the lateral hiring process.

Rhonda joins MLA after founding UR Aware, LLC, a national life and career coaching firm. She has coached more than 100 emerging and established leaders across industries by providing them with proven techniques, strategies and tools to achieve higher levels of professional and personal success. Before that, Rhonda practiced law for seven years including serving as a civil litigation attorney with Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek, now a part of Husch Blackwell.

Rhonda will be joined in Dallas by Amber Shockey, managing director, who will lead MLA’s In-House Counsel Practice. With over 13 years of recruiting experience, Amber handles complex searches that require deep knowledge of industry, market and talent pool.
