Hanover, MD —March 5, 2019— Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal search firm, has launched a new podcast today. Leading Lady Lawyers, a podcast focusing on the work and lives of female lawyers leading the profession, is hosted by Leslie Goldman of MLA’s In-House Practice Group. In each episode, Leslie sits down with female lawyers who share their unique insights and perspectives through their own personal stories. The series will release a new episode every three weeks.
The first episode features Janet Langford Carrig, recently retired senior vice president of legal, general counsel and corporate secretary at ConocoPhillips, discussing how she has navigated gender stereotypes, helped expand others’ perspectives and been a mentor both in the boardroom and courtroom.
“I am passionate about empowering women and promoting diversity in the C-suite. The women I am interviewing have all faced tremendous obstacles in their career, yet had the grit and determination to push through any perceived glass ceilings,” said Leslie Goldman, managing director at Major, Lindsey & Africa. “I am delighted to give them a voice to share their journeys so that they may inspire and teach those that have similar aspirations.”
