Hanover, MD (May 14th, 2019) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal search firm, announced that Ginger Li has joined the firm as a managing director in the firm’s In-House Practice Group. A seasoned senior lawyer with experience as a partner in a U.S. law firm and as in-house counsel in China and Australia, Ginger has an extensive network in China and across Asia Pacific. She will be focused on in-house initiatives primarily in China, but also U.S. companies with links to China.

Most recently, Ginger served as special counsel at HWL Ebsworth Lawyers in Australia as a key member of the Chinese inbound investment team. Prior to this, Ginger was an international partner at Chadbourne & Parke in Beijing, where she advised Chinese state-owned enterprises (SOEs) and private enterprises on global investment opportunities. She also held in-house roles with Peabody Energy and Siemens Ltd China.
