Prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Angus worked in industry as a general counsel and company secretary. He enjoyed nearly 14 years working for London Stock Exchange and Euronext Amsterdam cross-listed business, Accsys Technologies PLC, where he was also a member of Accsys’ executive committee and a director of two its JV companies (alongside directors from BP, and subsequently INEOS). During his tenure as general counsel and company secretary at Accsys, Angus led all legal, governance and regulatory affairs across the Accsys Group.
Angus has also acted as a consultant general counsel to a portfolio of clients, including small private companies to FTSE 300, through law firm ‘The Legal Director’.
Angus began his legal career as a trainee and assistant solicitor with Ashurst LLP. He then moved to London law firm Forsters LLP, where he also enjoyed a secondment to Mauritian Property Partnerships, cutting his teeth on in-house work and supporting residential and leisure development projects in Mauritius.
