Bridget McCarthy is a Managing Director in our Partner Practice. Focusing on Texas and other U.S. markets, Bridget helps partners, partner groups and law firms navigate the complex process of lateral hiring.

A seasoned legal recruiter, Bridget has placed partners, groups, and general counsel across a wide range of practices in all the major U.S. markets as well as in Europe and the UK. Prior to moving into recruiting, Bridget practiced law for 14 years at Brown & Wood (now Sidley Austin), McKenna & Co. (now CMS) and Crosby Heafey Roach & May (now Reed Smith).

Bridget has built her career on trust and a commitment to seeking the very best outcomes for clients and candidates. She upholds the highest ethical standards in legal recruiting. The many personal referrals and repeat engagements she receives are a testament to her market expertise and integrity.  A lifelong ally, Bridget is deeply committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace and has achieved an impressive career record in representing and placing diverse candidates.

Bridget is passionate about language, linguistics, and literature. She speaks Spanish fluently and Portuguese conversationally, and she dabbles in many other languages. She seeks out and cultivates friendships with people from all walks of life and from all corners of the globe. Bridget believes in using her voice to speak for the vulnerable, and to that end, she works with a number of organizations in her community that provide support to indigent seniors.  Above all else, she cherishes time spent with her beloved family and friends and with her BFF Peggy-O, a Lab mix rescue who is (usually) a very good girl.
