Casey Gordon is a Director in our Midwest In-House Counsel Recruiting Practice. A former in-house attorney and private practitioner, Casey uses her knowledge of the legal industry and her in-house experience to place attorneys at all levels within legal and compliance departments.
Casey has experience working with clients in a range of industries, including financial services, technology, manufacturing, healthcare, consumer products and more. A natural relationship-builder, she prides herself on connecting companies with high-quality, value additive legal talent.
Casey is originally from Baltimore and currently lives in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago with her husband and their two kids. She’s a devoted Baltimore Ravens and adoptive Cubs fan as well as a blue crab and Old Bay enthusiast.
Prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Casey served as deputy general counsel for Funding Circle, a venture-backed fast-growing global financial technology company. Before that, Casey worked as legislative counsel for the Uniform Law Commission, a national non-profit law reform organization. Casey began her legal career as a litigation associate with the international law firm, Latham & Watkins LLP. Prior to law school, she worked on Capitol Hill as a staffer for a Senate committee.
