As a Managing Director with In-House Counsel Recruiting, Dudley Morton guides legal departments through the hiring process, identifying top lawyers and compliance and privacy professionals to build out world-class legal teams. Dudley’s combination of advisory expertise, vast legal background and extensive retained search experience equip him to truly understand an organization and find the best professional and cultural fit.
When he’s not working, Dudley enjoys spending time his family, exploring the Colorado outdoors, skiing, traveling, watching Denver Broncos and University of Colorado football, and giving back to Colorado by working with non-profits focused on empowering kids through education.
Dudley joined Major, Lindsey & Africa from EFL Associates, a national retained executive search firm where he led C-suite and director-level searches across various industries.
Prior to joining EFL Associates, Dudley served as a principal at Adam James International, where he was responsible for leading the firm’s operational and management retained executive search practice. Prior to Adam James, Dudley was a partner in a private law practice where he worked with clients on corporate, litigation and bankruptcy matters.
Dudley fine-tuned his recruiting skills early in his career working for DHR International in Chicago, one of the world’s largest executive search firms. While at DHR, he placed senior-level executives in Fortune 500 companies.
