As a Director in our Partner Practice Group, Niteesha Gupte helps partners, partner groups and law firms throughout the DC metro area navigate the delicate process of lateral hiring. Niteesha pairs her skills as an executive coach with her experience as a former practicing lawyer to match candidate career goals with law firm needs which result in successful transitions.

Having lived in a handful cities throughout her career, Niteesha has adopted a love of signature foods from each and often scours grocery stores or restaurants for items like St. Louis toasted ravioli, British Jaffa cakes, and a New York slice (easy to find as New York is the city she currently calls home).

Niteesha is a certified professional coach, educator and facilitator, and former practicing attorney. Niteesha has worked with attorneys at all stages in their careers while serving as an executive coach at Paul Hastings LLP in New York. She conducted one-on-one coaching, facilitated talent development programming, and created content for the firm’s monthly career newsletter. She has provided coaching to law students preparing for on-campus interviews at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and, has served as a career coach for Ellevest, Inc., a start-up financial institution focused on women’s financial and career wellness.

Before moving into coaching, Niteesha was a practicing attorney. She began her legal career in DC as associate counsel for the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Inspector General. She then moved to Epstein Becker & Green PC as an associate advising healthcare clients on a broad range of regulatory, compliance and fraud matters. From there, Niteesha held in-house counsel roles with Daiichi Sankyo, Inc.; Pfizer Inc.; and Hill-Rom Holdings, Inc.
