As a Director – Candidate Development, Ralston May assists attorneys and other legal professionals with finding interim, project-based and temp-to-perm roles within law firms and corporations throughout Northern California.
As a California native, Ralston can be found at the beach or hiking in the redwoods with his family when not sourcing top talent for MLA. In his spare time, he also enjoys playing soccer and reading.
Before joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Ralston was an associate director of recruitment with Hire Counsel, placing attorneys and legal professionals in contract and permanent roles at law firms and Fortune 500 corporations across the country.
Prior to entering recruiting, he served as a discovery clerk for Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy, LLP. There, he managed discovery team workload and presented discovery team findings, streamlined progress, and goals to attorneys.
While in law school, Ralston worked as a law clerk for Evans Law Firm, where he assisted with class action litigations. He also held a policy externship with a non-profit focusing on housing for low and no income San Francisco residents.
