Before joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Rhonda founded UR Aware, LLC, a life and career coaching firm. Rhonda coached over 100 emerging and established leaders, across industries, by providing them with proven techniques, strategies and tools to achieve higher levels of professional and personal success. In addition, Rhonda empowered audiences across the Midwest to make a lasting impact in life and business, including serving as a speaker for Robert W. Baird’s International Women’s Conference, BMO Harris Bank’s WISE Women’s Affinity Group and Northwestern Mutual.
Rhonda practiced law for seven years. In that time, she prosecuted drug, larceny, and assault and battery cases as an assistant district attorney in Massachusetts. In addition, she defended regional and national corporations against premises liability and catastrophic injury claims as a civil litigation attorney in Wisconsin. While practicing law at Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C., Rhonda received a 2009 Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Forty Under 40 Award and a 2010 DePaul University 14 Under 40 Award.
During the course of the past 20 years, Rhonda has educated, inspired and empowered thousands of men and women to prevent, interrupt and respond to sexist abuse through: 1) co-facilitating trainings, across the country and abroad, as a consultant for the Mentors and Violence Prevention (MVP) Program; 2) serving on the board of directors of the Sojourner Truth House; and 3) appearing on radio and television and in print media, including The Morning Blend, Fourth Street Forum, WUWM’s Lake Effect and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
