Tracy Dalton, Managing Director – Client Development, works with law firms and corporate legal departments to identify high-quality, flexible legal talent solutions that help them optimize legal spend, create better efficiencies, and address the challenges GCs and legal leaders face with their legal resourcing model.

Tracy loves spending time with her family, travelling, practicing yoga and doing anything outdoors, even in the hot Texas summers!

Tracy brings 25 years of law firm, in-house and legal services experience to Major, Lindsey & Africa. Most recently, she served as executive director for Consilio (formerly Legility LLC – Dallas), where she applied her extensive experience as an outside lawyer and in-house counsel to help clients manage their legal and compliance matters and to implement effective and economical legal solutions for clients throughout the United States.

Tracy was in private practice in the Los Angeles office of Howrey LLP, where she advised clients on employment issues and handled all aspects of federal and state commercial and employment litigation.

Tracy went in-house for her client Countrywide Home Loans (which was acquired by Bank of America) and moved back to Texas as senior vice president, assistant general counsel. In this role, she provided strategic litigation oversight, advised senior and executive management on how to achieve business objectives without litigation, and implemented process and procedure changes in order to reduce litigation exposure. She also directed an extensive docket of nationwide mortgage and employment litigation and created an eDiscovery process and protocol for investigating breaches of employment contracts. Next, Tracy joined Hewlett Packard as their senior litigation counsel. She managed employment litigation, including FLSA and other wage and hour class and collective actions, and worked with outside law firms to determine litigation strategy and manage all aspects of the cases.
