Jo Salter is an innovative and dynamic individual with over 25 years experience in the public, private and not for profit sectors. She was Britain’s first female fast-jet pilot flying the Tornado GR1 and is a renowned inspirational speaker.
Jo has substantial successful experience within strategic planning, governance, analysis, transformational change, high performing teams, HR and financial management alongside a proven ability to lead projects to inception and build strong relationships with individuals across boundaries and levels. She consistently demonstrates strategic, analytical as well as creative thinking and is particularly strong in understanding complex issues and articulating them in an understandable way. Jo has also a sound theoretical knowledge based on over 15 years of lecturing on managing people, organizations and finance for one of the UK’s leading business schools.
Jo has a passion for D&I and helping people become the best versions of themselves. She is a proud mother to 2 daughters, a Trustee at the RAF Club and, at the weekend, can be found either walking her dogs or flying Air Cadets on the RAF Volunteer Reserves.
