As Managing Director for our Interim Legal Talent, Tim Colbert is responsible for business development, client delivery and recruiter leadership for the Los Angeles office. He is committed to providing world-class customer service and substantive assignments for contract attorneys and legal professionals. He prides himself on working hard to understand his client's needs and providing the best possible solution to address their staffing goals. His accomplishments in talent acquisition and human capital over the past 12 years have earned him the trust and loyalty of his clients.
Tim is an active member of LACBA's Counsel for Justice, Provisors, Cancer Support Community and twice has been the keynote speaker for ITT Technical Institutes graduation ceremonies. He is a native to Southern California, where he resides with his wife, Michelle, and daughter, Claire. Tim is a wine enthusiast and enjoys traveling, golfing and skiing.
Prior to joining Major, Lindsey & Africa, Tim worked with Aerotek, the largest operating unit of the Allegis Group, the parent company of Major, Lindsey & Africa. Most recently, he served as a senior account executive for the Los Angeles office. He was responsible for prospecting, contract negotiations, requisition fulfillment and recruiter development.
During his tenure with Aerotek, Tim achieved multiple high honors within the organization, including earning membership in the prestigious President's Club and participation in the Winner's Circle, a company-wide program recognizing top producers and leaders. As a senior member of the sales force, Tim assisted in successfully launching two new offices for Aerotek within the Los Angeles area. He was a mentor for the West region and a subject-matter expert for the commercial division.
