A national law firm with more than 20 offices and approximately 380 attorneys that provides business counsel and client representation in corporate law and litigation.
A registered nurse paralegal unexpectedly left the medical malpractice group in New York City, resulting in workflow disruption. The position qualifications were narrowly tailored, and the client, along with help from outside recruiters, was unable to find qualified candidates for the role. Then, shortly after contacting Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), another paralegal departed the team, and the client faced an unfavorable situation as cases progressed and deadlines approached.
MLA's Solutions Practice Group was able to customize our recruiting approach to search for nurse-trained paralegal candidates with the requisite skills in medical malpractice cases. Our team provided a diverse slate of candidates with varying levels of expertise.
The medical malpractice group was pleased with the quality of our nurse paralegal candidates as well as our response, our due diligence and our screening processes. These were strategic permanent hires for the team. The candidates successfully integrated and were able to make a positive impact on workflow and trial preparation.
