A large, general practice AmLaw 100 law firm with more than $300 million in gross revenue and more than 400 attorneys in 10 offices in the United States.
Due to a merger with another large U.S.-based law firm, our Philadelphia-based client required two independent project teams to evaluate the firm's client conflicts and client intake process. A great deal of research and document review was needed, and the firm's existing lawyers did not have the capacity to take on this interim, deadline-driven special project.
Major, Lindsey & Africa's Solutions Practice Group customized our recruiting approach to focus on junior and mid-level attorney candidates with the requisite skills in client conflicts and intake procedures. Our two project teams consisted of a combined 12 attorneys at project peak, each thoroughly screened and vetted to ensure they met our client's selection criteria.
Our law firm client was pleased with the quality of the contract attorneys as well as our response time and service after the placements were made. Projects were expected to be six to eight months in duration; our special project teams completed the legal work in less than six months and within our client's budget. Four of our contract attorneys accepted full-time, permanent work with our client.
