Bouncing Back with James Han

Life can throw curveballs from time to time, but James Han never expected two major ones so early in his career. In this episode of Bouncing Back, James tells Rebecca Glatzer about getting laid off during the Great Recession and how he bounced back from that by finding a profession he was passionate about in sports broadcasting. He then shares how his life was altered when he was diagnosed with a rate autoimmune disease that forever changed his path yet again and led him into the practice of law.


James Han
is Senior Principal Counsel of Real Estate at Whole Foods Market. He and his team assist with the launching of new stores,  ensuring that approximately 500 brick and mortar Whole Foods sites operate smoothly and serve as liaisons between landlords and Whole Foods. Prior to going in house, James served as an associate in the New York office of Haynes and Boone, LLP specializing in real estate finance.  

Prior to the start of his legal career, James worked at Morgan Stanley as an infrastructure analyst and as a broadcast analyst for Showtime Sports, specializing in Mixed Martial Arts. 

James holds a B.S. in Finance from Boston College, an M.S. in Sports Management from Columbia University and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.
