MLA Strengthens Australian Presence with Appointment of Kate Olgers as Managing Director

London, UK (November 3^rd, 2022) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal search firm, today announced that Kate Olgers has joined as a managing director in the Partner Practice Group, based in the firm’s Sydney office. Kate brings valuable knowledge and insights informed by her experience as a top-tier law firm partner, the co-founder of a legal services disruptor, and a general counsel and chief legal officer.

Prior to joining MLA, Kate enjoyed a successful legal career as a partner of Allens Linklaters; co-founder of legal services disruptor AdventBalance Lawyers (now Lawyers on Demand); Chief Legal Officer and Group Executive of ASX20 Suncorp Group; General Counsel of ASX10 National Australia Bank; and General Counsel & Company Secretary at State-Owned Corporation Sydney Water.
