MLA Tees Up Sponsorship of LPGA Golfer Matilda Castren Brand Ambassadorship Aligns with MLA’s Continued Support of Women and Diversity

Hanover, MD (September 14, 2022) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal search firm, today announced a three-year deal to sponsor American-born Finnish, LPGA golfer Matilda Castren.  Matilda is ranked 77th in the world in the Rolex Rankings and will represent Major, Lindsey & Africa at LPGA events globally through in-person events, golf tournaments, on social media and with branded apparel.

After playing golf at Florida State University, Matilda made her professional debut on the Symetra Tour in 2018 and earned her card for the 2020 LPGA Tour.  In only six starts she earned enough to qualify for her first major, the 2020 Women’s PGA Championship, where she finished the tournament T23.  She is also the only Finnish player to win on the LPGA Tour in 2021’s Mediheal Championship and won the 2021 Gant Ladies Open and clinched 2021’s European Solheim Cup team victory with a putt.  She also represented Finland in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.  To find out more about Matilda click here.
