MLA appoints former Ferring Pharmaceuticals GC, Jerry Temko, to its In-House Counsel Group in London

Hanover, MD (February 8th, 2022) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal search firm, today announced that Jerry Temko has joined as a managing director in the In-House Counsel group, based in the firm’s London office. A seasoned general counsel with 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry across the U.S., UK, and EMEA, Jerry will be instrumental in supporting the continued growth of the EMEA in-house search and advisory practices. 

Jerry joins MLA from Ferring Pharmaceuticals where he was head of European legal affairs and global compliance director.   Throughout his career, he has successfully established, managed, restructured EMEA legal and compliance teams, and recruited in-house legal, compliance officers and IP counsel officers for several multinational companies throughout his career. He will use this experience to guide corporations in structuring and building strong, effective legal teams. Jerry is also an executive director and co-founder of PILLS, an in-house pharmaceutical industry lawyers’ association and is a frequent keynote speaker at pharma industry events across Europe.

Jerry earned his M.A. and LL.M in Law from Cambridge University and is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York. In addition, he has participated in the Harvard Law School General Counsel Program and the INSEAD Executive Leadership Program.
