MLA Places Chasity Henry as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at CECO Environmental Corporation

Hanover, MD (April 15, 2020) — Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA), the world’s leading legal search firm, today announced the placement of Chasity Wilson Henry as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at CECO Environmental Corporation in Dallas. The search was conducted by Dimitri Mastrocola, partner in New York, and Amber Shockey, managing director in Dallas, both of MLA’s In-House Counsel Recruiting group.

Founded in 1966 and headquartered in Dallas, Texas, CECO (Nasdaq: CECE) is a global leader in industrial air quality and fluid handling, providing innovative technology and application expertise to customers across the automotive, chemical, electronics, refining, pharmaceutical and textile industries, among others.

In her new role as general counsel, Chasity will serve as a key member of the senior leadership team and lead all aspects of the legal department, including corporate governance, strategic transactions, litigation and compliance. She will also provide strategic leadership support to the company as it continues to implement transformative initiatives to position itself as the go-to resource for sustainable solutions.

Prior to joining CECO, Chasity was assistant general counsel for Kimberly-Clark Corporation, serving as lead counsel for strategic transactions globally, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures. She also held corporate counsel and senior counsel positions with Keurig Dr Pepper, Inc. and Vizient, Inc., respectively. Chasity started her career as a M&A, securities and litigation associate with Vinson & Elkins, LLP.

Chasity earned her J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law and her B.A. from Wheaton College.
